Who are we?
Oblongata was born out of a desire to create a business that made impactful change.
A core pillar of the business has been to work with, and for, organisations who share our values. We apply this to the partners we work with and all our colleagues within the business.
Fundamental to the business’ success has been our desire to build a company which is sustainable and ethical, but also honest in the impacts we have on the communities we work and live in. The business is a thriving and growing space where people are empowered to make real change internally and externally.
To ensure we are holding true to these values, in 2023, we took the decision to assess our environmental and social impact by beginning the process to become B-Corp Certified.
Alongside our goal to be B-Corp certified, we also ensure our website and our partners websites run on as much green and carbon neutral energy as possible. The Green Web Foundation is an independent non-profit that tracks how much of the internet runs on green energy and is what we personally monitor against.
Working to the guidelines and best practices outlined by the Green Web Foundation allows us to manage the environmental impact of our digital products. Apply best practices in digital sustainability and advocate for a more sustainable and just internet.
We are transforming our business to make it a force for good and to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
